IT Support Engineer

Are you someone who relishes the chance to resolve problems for customers and get their business up and running in a crisis? Someone that is reliable and puts people first? Do you have excellent communication skills and collaborate with others in a team, working towards common goals?

Role Requirements

  • 3+ years experience in a team-based technical support role (phone, remote and onsite)
  • Able to raise, update and resolve issues reported to the Support Desk via phone, email and proactive alerts
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills
  • Excellent diagnostic skills and logical thinking
  • Up-to-date technical knowledge
  • General interest in technology
  • Able to drive to customers’ sites to diagnose and resolve issues

Technical Knowledge Required

  • Windows 7-10
  • Windows Server – Active Directory, Group Policy, Permissions etc.
  • Virtualisation – Hyper-V (knowledge of Replica desirable)
  • Microsoft Exchange
  • Microsoft Office 365 – Exchange, Sharepoint, OneDrive etc.
  • Microsoft Office suite
  • Backup Solutions – Altaro, Backup Exec and Cloud backup
  • Anti Virus – Symantec Endpoint and Cloud managed
  • Firewall\Routers – SonicWall and Draytek
  • WiFi – Ubiquiti and Draytek
  • Networking – TCP\IP, DNS, DHCP, troubleshooting
  • SQL Management (desirable)
  • Microsoft Certification (desirable)
  • Scripting – PowerShell and batch files (desirable)

Hands on Experience

  • Working with customers/employees to identify computer problems and advising on the solution
  • Remote support and maintenance across customers servers, desktops and laptops
  • Dealing with escalated calls from junior members of the team
  • Logging and keeping records of customer/employee queries
  • Analysing call logs so you can spot common trends and underlying problems
  • Updating self-help documents to assist customers and team
  • Testing and fixing faulty equipment

Junior Developer

Thanks to our increasing growth and expansion of our Sage business, we have an opportunity to join the UK’s longest established Sage Business Partner and contribute to exciting and challenging projects.


You will be responsible for working with the project team, which includes project manager, Sage 200 consultants, ReACT consultants, the EBS support team and the customer to deliver smart, efficient technology solutions that will improve our customers’ businesses and deliver results to their bottom line. You will bring the latest development technology frameworks to ensure solutions are modern, effective and offer value to the project and customer.


Some experience of some of the following skills are desirable but full training will be given to the right candidate.

  • C#
  • Microsoft SQL Server
  • VB Script
  • Experience of the following Languages/platforms (Desirable for CRM development):
  • Java
  • Javascript
  • General Web Skills (ASP.NET, MVC)
  • WFP (Windows Presentation Framework)

As a part of our development team, you will also have the chance to work on our products, such as ReACT & Sage whilst increasing your skills to include Entity Framework Core/.net Core/Bootstrap/Azure Cloud skills/PowerBI/Microsoft Identity Framework.
